Several identified problems in Visual Integrator 3 version 3.8 are corrected by this patch. This patch upgrades the version to version 3.8.42. A brief description of each problem follows:

1. Functional Block documents store the LonMark object index in their document properties. This allows the document to find the associated LonMark object even if the user later changes the name of the LonMark object. However, when Document Wizard generated a document for a functional block, the internal LonMark object index was off by one and the wrong LonMark Object was associated with the document. Reference# 4484

2. After upgrading Visual Integrator 3 to version 3.8, the Device Template document property’s device name disappeared and had to be re-assigned, if the device was in a subsystem of a subsystem. Reference# 4468

3. Clicking on the DeviceStatus ActiveX object’s OCX Properties caused a blank error screen to be displayed. Reference# 4481

4. The AnimatedPoint ActiveX object’s ValueMax and ValueMin properties were reversed compared to the setting on the OCX properties GIF Selection tab. This caused the GIF animation to not work. Reference# 4479

5. The AnimatedPoint ActiveX object's 'link to file' gif 'link to file' directory was missing. The path is shown on the control’s ActiveX property page but not on the GUI. Reference# 4480

6. The TempSetPoint ActiveX object didn’t allow temperature in degrees F to be displayed. Reference# 4476

7. When the Image ActiveX object was pointed to an animated GIF ( multiple frames), VI flashed through all frames rather than showing the first frame only. This was a bug in the support for animated GIFs added to the Image control in version 3.8. The Image control now has an Animate property which is set to No by default. Reference# 4465
